mommy date with Samara Mae…

back at the teahouse again.  This time the little pink tea set was brought out and pink tea was served with a small plate of very delicious scones. 

It is essential for Sammi and I to have this time…to connect.

I love that face.  Sophia and her dolly came as well. 

We talked about school, friends, what she wanted for her birthday, living in Canada and we counted 26 elephants, although we were told there was actually 39.  We read Samara’s favorite book right now from the Three Hills Library called, “The Princess Gown”.  It’s about a little girl who watches a princess and then comes up with a great idea to help her father, who is a tailor, become “Embroiderer to the Princess”.  Instead of Hannah, I have to read Sammi.  It really is a wonderful book. 

But the best part was the unsolicited cuddle I got…
