This is when it’s best…when you’ve slowly been graduating to winter from fall.  You wake up to some snow on the ground.  You’re not tired of living in it yet…there is no begrudging boots or coats.  It feels right as you begin to hear Christmas music.  The snow accessorizes the decorations and lights perfectly.  You are thankful for warmth in a house, maybe even a fire…and family.

It’s that snowed-in feeling…

(even though there is nothing Canadian about being snowed-in.  There’s no such thing but…it’s the feeling)

  1. YOu know I LOVE your writing, but your photography needs some positive comments, too. I just adore the way you capture your kids…the toes were the best in this bunch! I don’t know HOW you do it…but they are always outstanding. Perhaps the book you will write some day will have photos in it!
